Kelley Tenny

Kelley Tenny is a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Health Science at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where she has taught for 15 years. She holds dual affiliations within the College of Health & Human Services and the College of Education’s Single Subject Credential Program. As a CSULB alumna, she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Community Health and School Health, and a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.

Her professional experience includes 15+ years teaching 7th-grade Health in the Long Beach Unified School District (Long Beach USD), where she also served as Health Curriculum Leader. She contributed to local governance as a member of the City of Long Beach Health and Human Services committee for two years.

Outside academia, her expertise spans K-12 health education curriculum design, teacher training, and community health advocacy. Her office is located in HHS2 119, with regular office hours on Wednesdays and Fridays.
