Kelley Anderson is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the University of Virginia's School of Nursing, specializing in Nursing Research. Her work focuses on innovations for patients with heart failure, cardiovascular health, assistive technology, and nursing in global contexts. Anderson earned a Fulbright Scholarship to the Czech Republic and serves on editorial boards for multiple cardiovascular journals.
Her research integrates clinical practice with technological innovations to improve quality of life and health equity. Current investigations examine palliative care models for heart failure patients and AI-driven early detection systems for maternal cardiovascular conditions.
Anderson mentors nursing students across academic levels and developed experiential programs in Tanzania. She sits on the board of the Blue Ridge Medical Center and actively contributes to the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses.
