Keith Pezzoli is a Professor in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at the University of California, San Diego. He directs UCSD’s Bioregional Center for Sustainability Science, Planning and Design and the MetroLab Network’s Green Infrastructure and Planning Project, focusing on sustainability transitions, democratizing science, and civic infrastructure for ecological restoration.

As director of UCSD’s Superfund Research Center cores since 2000, he bridges environmental health science with community needs. He also leads UC Office of the President initiatives on global food systems, climate, and Mexico-focused collaborations.
