Keith Lawrence is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Brigham Young University's College of Humanities. He specializes in Asian American literature and early American literature, with additional expertise in transnational Asian American literature, film adaptation, and nineteenth-century American women writers. He coordinates English 201/202 courses and teaches Independent Study courses in early American literature and the American novel.

His scholarly contributions include founding the Circle for Asian American Literary Studies and serving as course coordinator for major undergraduate programs. He has taught abroad at Nagoya University of Commerce and Josai International University in Japan.
