Keith Hawkins

Keith Hawkins is a Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine, serving as Director of the Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment Service at the Connecticut Mental Health Center. He has trained over 70 pre- and postdoctoral fellows and mentored faculty with NIH career awards. His expertise spans neuropsychological assessment, cognitive aging research, and neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Hawkins holds appointments in the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and collaborates with institutions like the Olin Neuropsychiatric Research Center and Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders. His research focuses on cognitive aging in African Americans, executive functioning in the elderly, and neuropsychological aspects of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases.
