Keith Gremban is a Research Professor in the Ann and H. J. Smead Aerospace Engineering Sciences department at the University of Colorado Boulder since 2021, concurrently serving as Co-Director of the Spectrum Policy Initiative at the Silicon Flatirons Center, University of Colorado School of Law. His distinguished career spans government, industry, and academia, featuring leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Defense, National Telecommunications and Information Administration, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
His academic foundation includes:

Dr. Gremban's research integrates engineering and policy through spectrum-focused investigations in RF noise measurement, spectrum monitoring, dynamic spectrum sharing, and IoT connectivity. His work addresses critical challenges in wireless infrastructure development, emphasizing technical solutions within evolving regulatory frameworks for next-generation networks like 5G/6G.
He co-leads the Spectrum Policy Initiative, an interdisciplinary nexus connecting aerospace engineering, cybersecurity, and legal scholarship to advance spectrum allocation strategies through collaborative projects involving federal agencies, industry partners, and international standards bodies.
