Keith Gogan is an Assistant Professor of English at Oral Roberts University (ORU), where he has taught for over 25 years. He also instructs courses in the Health, Leisure, and Sports Sciences department, leading outdoor expeditions. His roles include advising ORU's literary magazine Promethia and integrating Christian values into his curriculum. He holds a B.A. in English Education (1987) and an M.A. in Education (TESL, 1995), both from ORU, and completed the OSU Writing Project's summer institute in 2016.

His research interests span poetry, linguistics, and the intersection of Christianity with critical thinking and social justice.
