Keith Christensen serves as Department Head for the Department of Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning and Co-Interim Department Head for Technology, Design and Technical Education at Utah State University. His work bridges landscape architecture and disability studies through inclusive design and social equity research.

His research focuses on macro-level environmental barriers to social access for individuals with disabilities, examining suburbanization, transportation patterns, and recreation infrastructure. Publications span journals like Cities and Transportation Research Record, emphasizing pedestrian safety and heterogeneous crowd dynamics.
