Keiran Sharpe

Dr Keiran Sharpe is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business at UNSW, Canberra. He completed his undergraduate and early postgraduate studies in Economics at the University of Sydney, followed by a PhD at Cambridge University supported by a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship. His academic career includes teaching roles at Queen's College, Oxford, and UNSW Canberra.

His research interests span Decision Making, Economics, Management, Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy, and Sociology. He focuses on how individuals and institutions act purposefully under incomplete information and the ethical implications of normative behavior. Publications highlight interdisciplinary studies on risk and uncertainty, fuzzy project requirements, and socioeconomic impacts such as air quality on housing prices and aging populations on real estate markets.

Scientific awards include the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship. He has supervised and taught courses like ZBUS8101 Strategic Management. His work appears in journals like Research in Economics, Theory and Decision, and Academy of Management Proceedings.
