Dr. Keira Flanagan is a Lecturer in Psychology at South East Technological University (SETU), specializing in penal reform, criminal rehabilitation, and social integration. She holds a PhD from Queen's University Belfast (2022) alongside prior degrees from University of Glasgow and University College Cork. Her research explores the transformation of carceral spaces, particularly Young Offenders Centres into Secure Colleges, focusing on education's role in desistance processes.
