Keehyung Kim is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma. Previously, he held positions at the University of Waterloo and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with advanced degrees in Computer Science from Seoul National University and KAIST.
His research focuses on technology's impact on decision-making, platform policies, and user behavior, with publications in top journals like Management Science and Journal of Management Information Systems. His teaching spans information systems, data science, and business analytics, earning him multiple teaching awards, including the Distinguished Teaching Award from Wisconsin School of Business and repeated Faculty Teaching Merit Awards at CUHK.
Kim has received grants from institutions such as the Hong Kong Research Grants Council and the University of Waterloo. His professional experience includes roles as an editorial board member for journals like Asia Pacific Journal of Information Systems and extensive service on academic committees, including the Faculty Board of Business Administration at CUHK.
Key research interests include online behaviors, review systems, AI applications, and experimental economics. His work bridges technology design, policy implications, and human decision-making to address challenges in digital environments.
