Kazim Abdullaev serves as Senior Scientific Worker at Samarkand State University and Director of Research at the Institute of Archaeology, Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, with additional affiliation as Associated Member of the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique.
His academic credentials include:
- M.A. in Renaissance Studies from Gorky University (Nizhni Novgorod), USSR (1975)
- Ph.D. with Distinction in Classical Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Moscow (1986)
