Katrine Mygind Bach is a PhD Fellow at the Department of Education Studies, Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, based at the Emdrup campus (Copenhagen NV, B-201). Her research bridges sustainability in vocational training and technology-enhanced medical education.
Her primary research areas include sustainability integration in mercantile vocational curricula, peer feedback dynamics in undergraduate education, and Virtual Reality applications for medical procedures like CPR, TOBS (Early Detection of Emerging Disease), and KOL (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Current projects involve the exploratory study Towards Sustainability Futures in Mercantile Vocational Education (2025-2028) and completed VR-based first aid training initiatives.
Her work emphasizes practical educational interventions, combining pedagogical theory with real-world healthcare and sustainability challenges through innovative simulation techniques.
