Katja Krüger

Katja Krüger is a Professor for Mathematics Education at the Department of Mathematics, Technical University of Darmstadt, since 2019. She serves as Dean of Studies for Teacher Education and has held leadership roles in academic organizations, including spokesperson for the stochastics working group of the Society for Mathematics Education (2010-2018) and editorial board member of journals like "Stochastics in School" and "Mathematica didactica".

Krüger received the GDM-Förderpreis in 2002 for her dissertation on functional thinking. She actively collaborates with educational institutions and journals, emphasizing competency-based teaching frameworks and training course development.
