Katja Cöllen

Katja Cöllen is a Research Fellow and Psychologist at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), affiliated with the Department of Medical Psychology within the Faculty of Medicine. Her work focuses on patient-centered care, healthcare communication, and nursing education. She is based at W26, 3rd Floor, and can be reached via k.coellen@uke.de.

Her research emphasizes improving communication skills in nursing through evidence-based interventions. Recent studies include evaluating a communication training program (KOMPAT) using randomized controlled trials and exploring nursing professionals' perspectives on patient-centered care through focus groups.
