Katie Mantz-Weller is an Instructional Designer and Forensic Science Instructor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Pennsylvania State University. She specializes in curriculum development, online course management, and FEPAC accreditation processes. Her roles include overseeing outreach programs, website/social media management, and event planning for the Forensic Science Program.
Teaching responsibilities include instructing FRNSC 100 (Introduction to Forensic Science) and FRNSC 210 (Essential Practices of Forensic Science). She actively participates in multiple committees, including the ECOS Staff Subcommittee for Climate and Diversity, United Way, and the Science Staff Advisory Council (Sci-SAC). Additionally, she serves as an Advisor for Delta Delta Epsilon International Forensic Science Honor Society.
Her work emphasizes fostering inclusive environments through diversity initiatives and operational leadership in academic and administrative functions.
