Katie Heath

Katie Heath is the Chair of the Teacher Education Department and Associate Professor of Education at Roberts Wesleyan College, where she also directs the Pathway to Teaching program. She holds a Ph.D. in Teaching and Curriculum from Syracuse University, an M.S. in Literacy from Keuka College, and a B.S. in Childhood and Special Education from St. John Fisher College.

Her research focuses on the integration of iPads and adaptive technology to support students with low-incidence disabilities. She has presented nationally on assistive communication technologies and inclusive education strategies. Katie previously taught at Hammondsport Central School for five years and has extensive experience in special education assessment and curriculum design.

She advises undergraduate and graduate courses in special education, assessment, and instructional technology.
