Kathryn Elizabeth Kasmarik is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Canberra). She co-founded the UNSW Canberra AI and Robotics (AIR) Group and is actively involved in research on swarming robots and computational models of motivation.

As an educator, she has taught courses such as ZEIT 4161: Algorithms for Robots and Autonomous Systems and ZEIT 1102: Introduction to Programming. She held leadership roles including Deputy Head of School (Teaching) and Head of School (Acting) at UNSW Canberra.
