Kathryn Clinton

Kathryn Clinton is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences. She has held this role since Fall 2004, specializing in Spanish language instruction and teacher training.

Education:

• B.A. in Spanish, Political Science, and Education, Drew University (1996)

Professional Roles: Clinton teaches foundational Spanish courses (SPA 101–202) and advanced language usage (SPA 302). She also serves as a Spanish Education Field Supervisor, Interim Advisor, and coordinator for immersion programs. Her work extends to teacher training through the Fulbright FLTA Orientation and Project Advance.

Service & Community: She contributes to academic advising, honors seminars, and first-year forums. Community efforts include mentoring, translation services for farm workers, and volunteer teaching in Bolivia and Mexico.
