Kathryn Boddie

Kathryn Boddie is an Instructor in Applied Mathematics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She holds a PhD from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, MS from Florida State University, and BS from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Her research spans cellular automata (particularly the Firing Squad Synchronization Problem), algebraic structures, and mathematics education. She maintains active interests in pure and applied mathematics integration.

Pedagogically, she focuses on making mathematics accessible through innovative teaching methods and undergraduate research mentoring.
