Kathrin Nilsson

Kathrin Nilsson is a Researcher at the Chair of Mathematics and Computer Science Education (Didaktik der Mathematik) within the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich). She contributes to the Mathematics Education Group's mission of advancing research on mathematical thinking, learning, and teaching at all educational levels.

Her work focuses on projects such as Catching up on specialist mathematics for mathematics didactics and deepening references, which integrates interactive self-learning tools into university mathematics courses to bridge gaps in prior knowledge and enhance didactic training.
