Dr. Kathleen M. Pike serves as Professor of Psychology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) with multifaceted leadership roles including Chair of the Global Mental Health Programs Faculty Steering Committee, Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Capacity Building and Training in Global Mental Health, Deputy Director of the Health and Aging Policy Fellows Program, and Senior Supervising Psychologist in the Center for Eating Disorders. Her external affiliations span Vice Chair of the Johns Hopkins SAIS Advisory Board and Trustee positions at the Jewish Board and International Rescue Committee.
Her research integrates Global Mental Health Capacity Building, Eating Disorders Innovation (developer of evidence-based CBT for anorexia nervosa), and Workplace Mental Health Systems. Key initiatives include:
- International dissemination of relapse prevention protocols for eating disorders
- Global clinical training expansion in low-resource communities
