Dr. Kathleen Detar Gennuso serves as Associate Professor and Assistant Program Director for the Master of Science in Biomedical Ethics (MSBE) Program at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida, where she was instrumental in creating the program launched in 2018.

She pioneered the incorporation of business leadership perspectives into bioethics through her role as the first business-background student in Duquesne's Bioethics Doctorate Program.
Professional Leadership: Founder of the Institute of Consultative Bioethics (ICBioethics) in 2011, she directs initiatives to create practical ethics frameworks that protect patients, practitioners, and healthcare organizations. Her MSBE program at LECOM advances professional development beyond theoretical knowledge to measurable behavioral changes in clinical practice.
