Kathleen Arcaro

Kathleen Arcaro is a Professor in the Veterinary & Animal Sciences Department at the University of Massachusetts. Specializing in Environmental Toxicology, her research focuses on endocrine disruptors—environmental pollutants that mimic, block, or alter hormone metabolism, linked to amphibian population declines and cancer etiology. She leads a laboratory investigating the health impacts of complex pollutant mixtures, particularly estrogenic and antiestrogenic agents.
