Kathleen Abrahamson

Kathleen Abrahamson is a Tenured Professor and Director of Research and Evaluation at the College of Nursing, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Purdue University, an MSN in Leadership, and has extensive certifications including Certified Nurse Educator.

Her research focuses on nursing home care, gerontology, and healthcare quality improvement. Recent publications explore themes of patient transitions, palliative care, and occupational health in aging populations. Awards include fellowships with the American Academy of Nursing and Gerontological Society of America.
