Kathie Cameron is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Wilfrid Laurier University's Faculty of Science. She holds expertise in graph algorithms, graph theory, and polynomial-time combinatorial optimization, with a focus on parity theorems (PPA).
- Education: PhD and Master's in Combinatorics and Optimization from the University of Waterloo; BSc (Honours) in Mathematics from the University of Regina
- Teaching Experience: Graduate courses at Stanford University, Cornell University, Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6), University of Waterloo, and Laurier
- Research Focus: Algorithm design for graph problems with special structures, parity theorems, and reconfiguration problems
Her work explores complexity of algorithms for exchange graphs in PPA, degree-constrained spanning trees, and combinatorial structures in graph theory. She has conducted research visits in France, Denmark, China, and the UK.
