Kathi Weeks' research bridges Marxist feminist theory with contemporary political economy critiques. Her work explores the politics of labor, postwork imaginaries, and feminist demands for structural change, including universal basic income and the abolition of the family. She situates feminist theory within broader struggles against capitalist structures.
Her recent publications examine precarity, work refusal, and utopian frameworks, while her pedagogy includes courses on feminist theory, sexual labor politics, and critical genealogies. Weeks has been honored by Trinity College for teaching and leadership in 2017.
