Katherine Parris Frey, PhD, RN, MS, MPH, is an Associate Scientist in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She serves as the Director of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and is a key leader in the Major Extremity Trauma Research Consortium (METRC), where she acts as Associate Director for Protocol Development and Implementation. Her work bridges clinical nursing, public health, and health policy, with a focus on improving outcomes for trauma patients.
