Katherine C. (KC) Haydon is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College, where she also co-chairs the Psychology and Education department. Her research investigates how individual developmental histories shape relationship behaviors, focusing on conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and support in romantic partnerships. She examines how relationships with parents, friends, and romantic partners contribute to adult development, emphasizing multi-contextual influences.

Haydon’s recent work includes studies on cannabis use and conflict resolution, as well as the development of the Attachment Script Assessment coding system to analyze attachment patterns. Her research spans developmental psychology, attachment theory, and physiological correlates of relationships.
