Katharine Hoeger

Katharine Hoeger is a Research Associate at the Centre for Criminology, University of Oxford. She holds a UKRI 'What Works' Policy Fellowship (ESRC Funded), collaborating with the College of Policing on their 'Measuring Harm for Violence Against Women and Girls Social Research Fellowship.' This initiative focuses on developing methodologies to measure and operationalize 'harm' in police data related to domestic abuse and crimes affecting women and girls. Additionally, she serves as a Senior Research Fellow for the National Policing Vulnerability Knowledge and Practice Programme (VKPP), analyzing domestic homicides and suspected victim suicides linked to domestic abuse in England and Wales.
