Katharine Heyl

Dr. Katharine Heyl is a Post-Doc researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ, affiliated with the Department of Environmental and Planning Law in Leipzig, Germany. Her work bridges legal frameworks with environmental science, focusing on sustainability transitions and resource management.

• Current Projects: SOILPROM (Modeling pollutant transport across soil-water-atmosphere systems and impacts on ecosystem services)
• Prior Work: PhD research on the reform of the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy, assessing subsidies for sustainability transitions and phosphorus management
