Katharina Schild

Katharina Schild serves as a Scientific Associate at the Department of Economics within the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Tübingen, contributing to the Economics Business Didactics team through research and academic support activities.

She holds a Bachelor and Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Tübingen, specializing in social pedagogy/pedagogy and mathematics for vocational school teacher training. Her educational background forms the foundation for her current academic work.

Her research concentrates on Business Education and Entrepreneurship Education within teacher training frameworks, with specific emphasis on developing entrepreneurial competencies in future educators. She integrates perspectives from social pedagogy and mathematics education to address vocational schooling challenges, focusing on practical applications for classroom instruction.

Schild actively participates in the @ventureDock project and OWD - Open Business Didactics initiative while simultaneously pursuing her doctorate at the European University of Flensburg under Prof. Dr. Ilona Ebbers, investigating entrepreneurship education methodologies in teacher preparation programs.
