معرفی
Katharina Krischer is a Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) School of Natural Sciences and holds the Professorship for Technical Physics. Her research focuses on non-equilibrium systems, electrochemical dynamics, and pattern formation in complex systems. She has contributed to understanding hydrogen evolution reaction kinetics, chimera states in oscillator networks, and self-organization in electrochemical systems.
- Research Interests: Non-equilibrium dynamics, electrocatalysis, pattern formation, coupled oscillator networks, and energy conversion mechanisms.
- Leadership Roles: President of the International Society of Electrochemistry (2023–2024), President-Elect (2021–2022), Immediate Past President (2025–2026), and member of the Scientific Advisory Board at the Weierstrass Institute.
- Teaching: Courses on nonlinear dynamics, electrochemical physics, and climate modeling.
Her recent publications explore electrochemical interfaces, hydrogen evolution, and metasurface-driven spectroscopy. She has received awards including the Otto Hahn Medal (1991) and ADUC Annual Prize (1996).
