Katharina Knapp

Katharina Knapp is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the Institute of Business Administration, Kiel University (CAU). She offers courses and workshops on entrepreneurial thinking and action for students and doctoral candidates across disciplines, emphasizing skills like creativity, opportunity recognition, and idea implementation. Her teaching spans profit-driven entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and intrapreneurship.

• Education: Bachelor's in business administration (Humboldt University of Berlin, Jönköping International Business School); Master's in sustainability economics and management with a focus on eco-entrepreneurship (Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, 2016).

Her research focuses on social entrepreneurship and innovation championing. She previously worked at the junior professorship for entrepreneurship and contributed to projects like "Development and Testing of an Intrapreneurship Concept for Research Institutions" and "Innovation-Oriented Network StartUp Schleswig-Holstein".

She supervises bachelor's and master's theses and collaborates on interdisciplinary projects, including the "Social Entrepreneurship for Local Change" ERASMUS+ initiative.
