Katelyn Cooper is an Assistant Professor in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University (ASU), leading the Cooper Biology Education Research Lab and directing the Mental Health Division of the Research for Inclusive STEM Education Center. She specializes in discipline-based education research, focusing on mental health and cognitive/affective learning in biology education. Her work has been featured in Science, New York Times, and CNN, and she received the 2022 NSF CAREER Award for studying depression in research settings.
