Kate Andrias is the Patricia D. and R. Paul Yetter Professor of Law at Columbia Law School, where she directs the Center for Constitutional Governance and the Columbia Labor Lab. She specializes in constitutional law, labor law, and the intersection of law with democracy and social movements. Her work focuses on labor rights, economic inequality, and the relationship between legal frameworks and political power. Andrias previously taught at Michigan Law School and served as Associate Counsel to the President of the United States, a law clerk to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and a union organizer.
