Katarzyna Lewandowska is a Polish art historian, feminist, and curator currently affiliated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (Department of Art History and Theory) and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Department of the History of Art and Culture, Gender Studies at the Institute of Philosophy). Her research focuses on corporeality in contemporary art, feminist philosophy, and Tibetan Buddhist iconography.

- PhD in Art History (2009) from Nicolaus Copernicus University
Research Interests: Lewandowska explores critical dialogues between art and authority, emphasizing feminist perspectives. Her work delves into the evolution of Tibetan Buddhist painted scrolls and the role of femininity in art. She organized the exhibition series FEMININE and ANARCHY, reflecting her activist stance in animal rights and social inclusion.

- Jerzy Remer's Prize for MA thesis on Buddhist scrolls
International Affiliations: Residency at the Buddhist Center in Bristol (1999-2000), scholarship at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (2003). She actively bridges academia with societal advocacy through her curatorial and research practices.
