Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technologyمعرفی
Professor Katarzyna Grebieszkow is a faculty member at the Warsaw University of Technology's Faculty of Physics, Department of Physics. She holds the academic rank of Professor and is affiliated with the Heavy Ion Research Group (HIRG). Her research focuses on high-energy heavy-ion collisions and the study of quark-gluon plasma, utilizing data from CERN's NA49 and NA61/SHINE experiments. Key research areas include fluctuations and correlations in particle production characteristics, and the search for the critical point in the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter.
Her teaching responsibilities include 'Fundamentals of Information Technology' (Winter term) and laboratory courses in 'Physics laboratories 1' and 'Heavy Ion Physics' (Summer terms). Since 2009, she has coordinated analysis work within the NA61/SHINE experiment's strong interactions program, supervising an international team. Her publications emphasize advanced fluctuation analysis techniques and comparisons between experimental data and theoretical models.
Professor Grebieszkow's work bridges experimental and theoretical physics, contributing significantly to understanding extreme states of matter through high-energy nuclear collisions. Her research has been published in leading journals like Physical Review C and Journal of Physics G.
