Katarina Jonsson serves as a University lecturer at Linköping University, jointly affiliated with the Department of Culture, Society, Design and Media (KSFM) and the Department of Culture and Society (IKOS). She is actively associated with the Forum for outdoor education, reflecting her institutional commitment to this specialized field.
Her research spans Outdoor Education, Cultural Studies, Sociology, and Media Studies, with emphasis on societal interactions within designed environments. Work explores pedagogical frameworks for outdoor learning and cultural identity formation through media and design practices.
