Katalin Kroó is a Professor at Eötvös Loránd University, affiliated with the Institute of Slavonic and Baltic Philology and serving as Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature. She holds the prestigious Doctor of Science (DSc) title and acts as Deputy Director of her institute. Her research focuses on Slavic and Baltic languages and literatures, with a specialization in Russian linguistic and literary studies.
