Dr. Katalin FORMÁDI serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing at the University of Pannonia, where she teaches core modules including Consumer Sociology and Psychology, Tourism and Leisure Management, and Marketing Research. Her academic base is located in Building 'A', Room 115, with consultation hours held on Thursdays from 10:00–12:00 by prior email arrangement.
Her educational background includes a PhD in Sociology from Corvinus University (2011), an MA in Sociologist-Economist with specialization in Public Opinion Research, and a BA in Economics in Tourism and Hospitality from the University of Pannonia. Additional credentials include an Event Management Certificate from George Washington University and language proficiency in English (advanced), Russian (intermediate), Italian (intermediate), and German (basic).
FORMÁDI's research spans labor market dynamics in tourism, career trajectory analysis of graduates, professionalization of emerging tourism professions, consumer behavior with sustainability dimensions, and social impact assessments of tourism activities. Her work emphasizes practical applications in tourism economics and organizational sociology, particularly through festival impact studies and wellness tourism initiatives.
