Kasper Hornstrup Hansen

Kasper Hornstrup Hansen is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Organic Chemistry, Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His work focuses on cyclodextrin chemistry, combinatorial synthesis, and nanoparticle catalysis. Key research areas include enzymatic synthesis of large-ring cyclodextrins, stabilization of gold nanoparticles using cyclodextrins, and development of fluorescent probes for host-guest studies.

His recent publications highlight expertise in dynamic combinatorial chemistry, supramolecular assembly, and green catalysis. He holds a patent for large-ring cyclodextrin production and completed his PhD thesis on redox-responsive cyclodextrin systems. Collaborations span organic synthesis, nanotechnology, and analytical chemistry.
