Professor Kaspar Althoefer is a Professor of Robotics Engineering at the School of Engineering and Materials Science, Queen Mary University of London. He leads the Centre for Advanced Robotics @ Queen Mary (ARQ) and serves as Programme Director for BEng/MEng Robotics Engineering. His research focuses on robot autonomy, soft robotics, and tactile sensing with applications in healthcare, nuclear engineering, and manufacturing.
