Karuna Subramaniam is an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), affiliated with the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences. Her work focuses on the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive and clinical symptoms in Schizophrenia, particularly self-agency, reality monitoring, and neural plasticity.
