Karla Fullner Satchell serves as the Anne Stewart Youmans Professor of Microbiology and Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. She directs the Center for Structural Biology of Infectious Diseases and leads research on bacterial pathogenesis mechanisms, with emphasis on Vibrio species and SARS-CoV-2.
