Karl Stampfer

Karl Stampfer is a Professor of Forest Engineering at the Institute of Forest Engineering within the Department of Ecosystem Management, Climate and Biodiversity at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). Appointed in 2012, he leads research on digital transformation in forestry operations with emphasis on work safety, steep-terrain harvesting, and climate-resilient infrastructure.
