Karl Kraus is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Management Department at the Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University. He specializes in teaching innovation and entrepreneurship, business strategy, and management of small/early-stage companies. His professional background includes over 20 years with the Temple University Small Business Development Center (SBDC), where he most recently served as Interim Director until his retirement in April 2024. The SBDC supports Philadelphia-area businesses across their lifecycle.
Dr. Kraus is Managing Partner at Material Growth Partners, LLC, a consulting firm aiding early-stage technology-driven companies. He also serves on the External Review Committee for investments in the Technology Sector at Ben Franklin Technology Partners Southeastern PA. He holds an MBA in International Business from the Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University and a BS in Chemistry from Ursinus College.
