Karl Kattchee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska and a B.S. from the University of Chicago. His research interests span Commutative Algebra, Mathematical Art, and Discrete Mathematics, with a focus on integrating mathematical concepts into artistic designs.

Research & Achievements:
- Organized the Special Session on Math and the Arts at the Joint Mathematics Meetings (2023, 2024).

- Authored a journal article on the 2017 Joint Mathematics Meetings Exhibition of Mathematical Art (2017).
