Karl Hurn is a Lecturer and Placements Co-ordinator at Loughborough Design School, part of Loughborough University's School of Design and Creative Arts. He holds a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design from 1995 and has over 20 years of professional experience spanning industrial design roles in consultancy and white goods manufacturing before transitioning to academia in 2002. His primary responsibilities include coordinating student placements and leading design education initiatives.
