معرفی
Karine Heydemann is a Professor at Sorbonne Université, affiliated with the School of Science and Engineering, Department of Systems on a Chip (SOC), and the Architecture and Software for Embedded Systems (ALSOC) team at LIP6 laboratory. Her research focuses on securing code against physical attacks, formal verification of assembly code robustness, and optimization of code protections.
Research Projects:
- ANR IDROMEL (2021-2025): Formal leakage-free analysis of microarchitectural vulnerabilities
- ANR COFFI (2019-2023): Enhancing control flow integrity
- ANR PROSECCO (2015-2020): Proven protections for compiled code (Coordinator)
- ANR MORE (2007-2010): Multicriteria optimizations for real-time embedded systems
Teaching: She teaches computer architecture, advanced compilation, RISC processor design, and side-channel attacks at Sorbonne Université across L1-L3 and M1-M2 levels. Past courses include machine representation, recursive programming, and high-performance architectures.
Advising: Supervised 11 PhD students (current/past) on topics like fault injection defenses, leakage modeling, and code optimization. Notable collaborations include CEA, Arm, and INVIA.
